What We Do:
Sponsor a Student
The heart of STOBO is providing education for over 1,500 children in Nicaragua. $25 will provide a child with the supplies and uniforms required to attend school for a year.
Church Planting
We've already started one church plant in the village of Nuevo Jicarito. The building is finished, and we are looking for our next opportunity.
Shoe Distribution
We've recently partnered with The Shoe That Grows to provide size-adjustable sandals to children in Nicaragua. These efforts can protect them from parasites and other problems that can be prevented simply by having shoes to wear.
Equip a Pastor
We have helped equip 16 pastors so far by providing bicycles, study materials, and training to facilitate the spread of the Gospel throughout Nicaragua. (Link to donate button).
Stuff the Stocking Food Program
and Crisis Care Packages
It's Christmas in July (and March)! For only $10, you can sponsor a stocking full of basic food staples to deliver to needy families in Nicaragua. For a $20 donation, you can help provide a Crisis Care Package for families affected by the recent civil unrest in Nicaragua.
Crafting for a Cause
Custom vinyl decals and personalization created by Jennifer. If you can imagine it, she can do it! All proceeds from the sale of these items go directly into the ministry of Save Them One By One. Baskets of Love
A sweet young lady in Nicaragua named Helen Julisa makes all of these baskets by hand from pine needles and colorful thread. Helen's parents abandoned her and left her to survive with her grandmother, and these baskets create a source of income that supports the two of them. In our working relationship with artisans of Nicaragua, we are dedicated to the principles of Fair Trade.
Mission House
Our STOBO mission house is under construction! Our house will accommodate up to 20 missionaries and allow us to have a home base in Nicaragua for our mission trips. We also have opportunities to rent out the house to other missionaries, extending its reach for the Gospel in Nicaragua.
