Support Needed for Church Building Project

I am very thankful for the vision and calling that the Lord has placed before me almost 13 years ago...Never then did I think or ever imagine the accomplishments that has been made possible thru the help of supporters and the LORD. Currently we have approximately 1800 children in our school sponsorship program that are able to attend school with the help of supporters.just like you...an opportunity that most normally would not have because of the poverty in Nicaragua.

This year has been like no other for Save them One by One and needless to say...it has been challenging. I was able to take a trip to Nicaragua back in March, leaving I had no idea it would be my one and only trip to Nicaragua in 2020 due to Covid. As with everything else, Covid has made 2020 a difficult year for ministry. A large portion of our financial support comes from me sharing at various churches and I have only had a few opportunities for that this year. Fundraising has also faced much hardship this year and I hope to find new ways to fundraise in 2021. I am not quite sure when I will be able to return at this time but it is my hopes I will very soon. Although we have been faced with many struggles in 2020, GOD has been faithful and we were still able to continue on with the mission work.

It is my prayer that 2021 will be a much better year for everyone and that Save them One by One can grow like never before. I was contacted a little over a month ago about helping to build a church in Nicaragua and it is truly a blessing and an honor to be asked. I am very excited about this opportunity, but it will only be possible with the help of GOD and great supporters. This community currently has a “hut” or "shed" that they are meeting under but would love to have an actual church building. The church currently has approximately 200 people in attendance and is steadily growing. During most services the area they currently meet is overflowing from the shelter. This is wonderful however during Nicaragua's "winter season" they usually have 3-4 months of heavy rainstorms making it very difficult for them to meet. Also, unfortunately because this is an outside shelter they have nowhere to safely store their items for the church. In order for their materials chairs, sound, etc. to be safe they have to constantly move their items to a safe storage place. This church is working very hard to gather new members, recently going into the "streets" of Somotillo to give hope to homeless and drug addicted young adults in the area. Many of my dearly loved, Nicaraguan family currently worship here. Land has been donated to build the church and it is my goal to start raising money for these precious people to start building a church in 2021. The cost for the building is estimated to be around $30,000. This is just an estimate at this time and a goal to start working towards. I hope to have more details soon. Save them One by One was able to build a church for the people in 2012-2013 and that church is currently still thriving and well.
